Beginning in 2020, Wabash College LaFollette Distinguished Professor in the Humanities Emeritus and Professor of Religion Emeritus Raymond Williams began writing guest columns for the Crawfordsville, Indiana newspaper the Journal Review. Published bimonthly on average, his brief articles cover a variety of topics, including religion, education, careers, civic life, immigration, ethics and current events.
Raymond Brady Williams is LaFollette Distinguished Professor in the Humanities emeritus and Professor of Religion emeritus. He came to Wabash in 1965 directly from PhD studies at the University of Chicago and retired in 2002. He taught courses on the New Testament, Islam and the Religions of India, Immigrants, and Cultures and Traditions. He founded the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion and the Wabash Pastoral Leadership Program, both funded by Lilly Endowment. During retirement he has continued to lecture at universities and religious gatherings in several countries and to publish books and articles, including materials in this collection. CV.
